Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the nation is prepared to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing contagion of COVID-19. The exemplary groundwork and precaution advisory by the Government has helped in containing the spread of the virus in our country. At present, the priority is to make COVID -19 vaccine available to all, ensuring vaccine traceability and beneficiary tracking from production to last mile administration. COVID-19 vaccination drive has been initiated to cover healthcare and frontline workers after it was scaled up to cover citizens above 45 years of age and now it's the 3rd phase that is open for everyone above 18 years of age.

How it Works
REGISTER YOURSELF Register using your Mobile no. or Aadhaar no. or any other Identity docs.
CHOOSE VACCINE LOCATION Select your nearby Vaccine Center for vaccination
CONFIRM YOUR SLOT Book your slot to Get Vaccine

Go to www.cowin.gov.in

Register or SignIn for Vaccination by entering your phone number. Enter the OTP and you'll be redirected to the homepage of self-registration.

Citizen registers by filling required details. Citizen can register oneself and others (max 3) for vaccination.

After filling the complete details of all the members, check the schedule button and schedule your slot for vaccination.

On booking appointment, you have to select your state and district.

Now select the date and center of vaccination as per your locality.

After a successfully booking appointment slot, your profile will have the appointment slip button, from where you can download your appointment slip.

After a successfully booking appointment slot, your profile will have the appointment slip button, from where you can download a PDF with all the details. [Vaccination date, Venue, Time slot, and Reference ID]

And when you're done with your vaccination, you can download your provisional certificate from the Certificate button on your profile.
Documents Required for CoWIN Registration
For the purpose of CoWIN registration, you will have to provide details mentioned on a photo ID proof provided by the Government of India. There are 7 different photo ID documents from which you can provide one for the CoWIN registration process. These are
Aadhar card
Electoral or voter card
NPR smart card
PAN card
Pension document that is supported with a photograph
While offering the details of the document, you can choose from any one document from a dropdown menu at your convenience. Just be careful that you have to provide your personal details only as mentioned on the document whose details you are providing.
What IS CoWIN?
Co-WIN application is the digital back bone for the vaccination drive in India. With scaling up of vaccination; the number of vaccination facilities and sessions has to be increased and managed effectively. The CO-WIN application will facilitate the citizen with an option to register and schedule the vaccination session online in Centers of their choice. The Citizen self-registration module will ensure fool-proof identification of deserving candidates for receiving the vaccines. The Co-WIN application facilitates multiple role creations for orchestrating vaccination drive at various levels.
