eGyankosh is an online education program which has been restarted by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) under the recommendation of the Ministry of Human Resources Development . eGyankosh with access to the National Digital Library and massive open learning courses (MOOCs) have emerged with communication skills courses to instill better understanding and learning of vocab.
NEET And JEE-mains postponed till September
Amid this ongoing pandemic, National Level Entrance Exams like JEE and NEET aspirants were in bewilderment regarding the dates of examination. This uncertainty of aspirants has been sorted as Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the concerning dates. The JEEmains 2020 will now be commenced on 1-6th September and JEE advance 2020 will be on 27th September,2020 whereas NEET 2020 will be held on 13th September, 2020.
Eklavya offers Audio MOOCs
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) has been initiated by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS); especially for learners at secondary and higher secondary courses, also providing vocational courses. These online courses will not only be accessible to open and distance learning (ODLs) students but also to the millions of readers who seek interest in improving their skills in various vocations.

Master Skills through Comic books
Central Board of Secondary Education in alliance with Central Square Foundation has developed two cartoon series in its efforts to promote 'competency based learning'. Both 'cognito' and 'The Question Book' are the cartoon series which deals with a set of conversations between Ankit and Ankita.
The series 'Cognito' scouts the process of studying and apprehending a problem. In this both Ankit and Ankita learn how to savvy the veracity of something. This learning is a lifelong activity which can be applied both in professional and personal life. The other series 'The Question Book' deals with the process of tackling difficulties, where both explored the steps involved in resolving problems.
Thus, CBSE has taken a step ahead to instill competency based learning with fun. So, that the students can imbibe the learnings more efficiently.
e-Pathshala
Students and Parents can also leverage epathshala, an app devised by National Council of Education Research and Training. This is an online education platform with easy access to resources or e-textbooks also the resources are available as multilingual, with low storage capacity.
Alternative Academic Calendar for Primary Stage
Ramesh Pokhriyal the Union HRD minister announces an eight week alternative calendar for Class 1-5 , which has been devised by NCERT. The calendar instructs teachers on the use of various technologies and social media tools so as to impart education to students, parents and learners in a vivacious manner. It also caters the need of specially-abled students with audio books and radio programs. It focuses on learning outcomes be it through the textbooks provided or by experiential learning activities which includes yoga, prevocational skills etc.
